I DON’T CARE WHAT PRESS WRITE ABOUT ME—IYANYA

The Calabar, Cross River State-born singer is known with hit singles like 'Your Waist', 'Kukere', 'Flavour', 'Mr. Oreo' among many others.

When asked what he would have loved to change as regards his status, the rumoured ex-lover of Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, said, "Fame is fame. I do not think there is anything that should change in this fame."
Speaking on how he reacts to stories being written about him, Iyanya said he does not get bothered about what the media write about him.
"So if you notice, I am not one of those guys that would hear stuffs they would write about me and I would start writing back. You know why? (Because) I do not really care. They are just doing their job. If I was nobody, nobody would write about me. So it comes with the territory," he said.
When asked how the music label Made Men Music Group was formed, Iyanya revealed that he co-owns the outfit which has signed other acts like Tekno, Selebobo, Emma Nyra.
"Me and Ubi Franklin just looked back on the whole thing; where we have come from, and we just said 'We are made men! We worked our way up.
"Triple M-G is a label owned by myself and Ubi Franklin. I am the Chairman; I the artiste. Ubi is the Chief Executive Officer; he is the manager," he explained how the label was formed.
He further said if he had not been doing music, he would have been into governance.
