Miracle! Abi? Woman Only Realised She Was 8-months Pregnant After Boyfriend Felt The Baby Kick

A Californian couple are hurriedly preparing for their first baby after mum Abby Wake discovered she was expecting eight months into the pregnancy.

Abby told CBS Los Angeles she had no symptoms, other than a little weight gain and bloating.

As she’s lactose intolerant, she assumed the ‘gurgles’ she felt in her stomach were a reaction to something she’d eaten.

It was her boyfriend Jarryd Gorman who suspected it might be something more when he put his hand on her stomach during a concert last week and felt a kick.

He said: ‘I felt the baby kick and I looked at her and said, “I think you’re definitely pregnant. We need to go see someone straight away.”’

Their suspicions were later confirmed by their doctor. But, the biggest shock was that she was only weeks away from giving birth.

Abby says of their doctor Payman Joseph’s surprise diagnosis: ‘He was just like, “32 weeks.” He was just doing the measurements. And we were like, “I’m sorry?”‘

Doc was less surprised, saying, ‘It’s more common than most people think.’ He added: ‘She’s very thin compared to a lot of the other women that I’ve seen this in.’

The couple are now busily trying to get ready for the imminent arrival of their baby boy, whom they’ve already named Isaiah.

They’ve now started a Go Fund Me page for a virtual baby shower in the hope they’ll be able to get the nursery ready in time.
