Army Kills 30 B’Haram, Recovers Foreign Currency


The troops of the Nigerian Army have found a large amount of Euro on a terrorist commander who was killed during an encounter with the insurgents at Mafa, near Nigeria’s border with Cameroun.

The Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, said in a statement on Monday that the Boko Haram commander was killed when the Special Forces repelled an attack on Mafa on Saturday.
Olukolade said that the terrorist, who was of the highest Amir cadre of the Boko Haram, was among 30 terrorists killed in the Mafa battle.
