By now, it’s in the public domain that some music artists have gone for studies at the prestigious New York Film School as their first step in their desire to invade Nollywood.

With the number of such artists increasing by the day, Ikechukwu is the latest, Banky W and Dr SID preceded him, it’s pertinent to now address the issue of why they are taking the Nollywood step.

And E-News can authoritatively reveal that these artists are preparing themselves for Nollywood because they foresee a situation whereby the music might stop paying, as it eventually does for most Nigerian musicians.

Already, the music is no longer paying as much as before for these artists so the earlier they find their way into other sectors, the better it might just be for them.
