Acoustic Night: Diana Bada And D’expressions Performs In Lagos

Multicultural ‘Afro-soul’ singer and recording artiste who mashes up Hip-Hop, Jazz and Reggae, Diana Lolade Bada would perform live with her band, Diana Bada and D’ expressions, at the BC Garden Café, Omenka Gallery, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The eventwhich is tagged Acoustic Night is organized by Revilo, a multi-platform media company with a focus on contemporary African visual culture, entertainment and lifestyle. Diana, who has made her stance in the creative arts and the music industry, was part of the 2008 edition of MTVBase/Zain advance warning that had artistes like M.I, Kel, Terry G, Durella, Waje and Terry Tha Rapman among others.
She was also part of the Gimme Shot Crew touring in Europe as well as the lead vocalist for the Tripanation Band.
Having a Euro/Afro background, she continues to spread love with her original compositions, as well as inspire and motivate her listeners and audience with strong lyrics and melodies. She has been able to reach out to her niche of fans through energetic live performances and recorded collaborations.
The multicultural singer born to a Nigeria father and Russian mother, fuses a unique blend of poetry, jazz, hip hop and reggae which she likes to call ‘Afro soul’.
She made her stance in the creative arts and music industry, working both in Europe and Africa with producers and musicians such as DJ Mango, Elmarcee, Sena, Marcel, Yonderboi, Alan Redfern, Resn, Grandmotif, Polaak, Dj Vadim, as well as an array of Nigerian industry gurus like Konga, OJB Jezreel, Benny Paladin, General Pype, Godwon, Mr.Raw, Olu Maintain, Oritz Willikis, Teemac, Bantu and Ruggedman.
She released her 2nd album in June 2014, titled “Be”, giving outstanding performances with her musical band D’expressions, and exciting alternative music lovers from all over the world.
Newly established Revilo Music is involved in the development, sale and distribution of quality music. The label specializes in various genres like Neoclassical African music, Afro Pop, as well as fusion of Jazz, Hip Hop and Reggae.
