Another Bomb Explodes In Kano Market


The spate of terror against innocent civilians by the Boko Haram extremists continued today in the northeast of Nigeria as two female teenage suicide bombers detonated body strapped IEDs in the Popular and ever busy Kwari Market.


Eyewitnesses put the death toll at 20, while scores of other casualties have been rushed to the Mohammed General Hospital in the city.

The twin bomb attacks targeted the main market and the mosque inside the market, according to survivors at the scene, the first teenage bomber detonated her package right inside the busy market, while the second bomber who was asking for directions to the mosque inside the market, could not make it to the mosque before her bomb went off.

Dismembered bodies and remains of the teenage female bombers and their victims were scattered all over the market as police and other emergency officials try to deal with angry relatives and friends of the victims who have refused to leave the scene of the tragic blast.
