Ekiti Crisis Between Drivers And Hausa, Fayose Imposes Dusk-to-Dawn Curfew In The State

Following tension that was still mounting as the feud between Hausa traders and drivers entered the third day, Governor Ayodele Fayose on Thursday imposed dusk-to-dawn curfew on Ado Ekiti metropolis.

While addressing the Hausa Community at Atikankan area of Ado Ekiti, the Governor said  the curfew begins on Thursday evening between 6 o’clock  and 6am.

He ordered the security agencies to arrest whoever was found roaming the streets during the period the order is in operation.

Fayose, who appealed to the Hausa community for the havoc wreaked on their property, promised that justice will be done in the case.
