“It Is Either Card Reader Or Option A4″ – Reps Candidate Tells INEC

A House of Reps candidate, Mr. Ifeanyi Asogwa, yesterday called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to insist on the use of card reading machine for the forthcoming elections.

Asogwa, who is contesting for the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South federal constituency under the platform of the APC, stated that, if INEC could not use the card reading machine, it should jettison everything about voters’ card and use ‘Option A4’ for the March 28 and April 11 polls.

“If we don’t want to use card reader, let’s jettison everything about voters’ cards and use Option A4. We are comfortable with Option A4; we had the experience in the 1993 election, it was perfect”, he said.
