Stop Thinking Of Coup Now, Babatope Tells OBJ

FORMER Transport and Aviation Minister and Chieftain of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Ebenezer Babatope, on Thursday, cautioned former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, to be mindful of his unguarded utterances of a possible military coup in the country following rescheduling of the general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Chief Babatope, also a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the PDP, in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune in Abuja, on Thursday, spoke about the Obasanjo’s endorsement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari and his fear over possible coup d’etat over the shift of the elections, urging Nigerians and the international community to take judicial notice of Obasanjo’s utterances.
