Tuface, Madinga To Co-host AFRIMA

Speaking about the collaboration, executive producer, AFRIMA, Mr. Mike Dada, said: “The award ceremony is going to be explosive with Tuface and Madinga Sona Maria, two accomplished creative Africans, holding sway and guiding our distinguished guests and nominees through the programme. We promise to bring to Africa electrifying performances from our nominees and invited guest performers. Then add this to the famous faces and glamour of the African icons on the first-of- its-kind red carpet activity. It is going to be a spectacular show!”

Mandiga is a beauty to behold with a towering height of 1.78m. The lady, who looks every inch a model, is the hottest female broadcaster in Democratic Republic of Congo. Her musical show, Cite de Star, is the biggest in the country. A combination of beauty and brain, Mandinga presents her show on Digital Congo Television and Radio. She is also a performer.
Tuface is one of the most bankable artistes on the continent. A multiple award winner, he went solo in 2004 and came out with his first solo album, Face to Face. His latest album, The Ascension was dropped recently and it features other artistes from across the continent.
“I am happy to be part of this epoch making event. I am delighted to host Africa because Africa is the future. I use this opportunity to welcome Africa and the world to AFRIMA holding here in the beautiful city of Lagos. Let’s celebrate Africa together! ”
In partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC) AFRIMA will be rewarding excellence in the continental music and media industry at the main awards ceremony. Preceding the ceremony will be the African Music Summit themed “Reviving the Business of Music in Africa” slated for the morning of Saturday, December 27, at the Oriental Hotel. The Summit is a platform for African and global music industry stakeholders to network and deliberate on how the music industry can be nurtured and structured to be a major contributor to national and continental economies.
“There is so much excitement in store for guests who attend the both the Africa Music Summit and AFRIMA main award ceremony. The Summit provides ample opportunity for robust and strategic deliberations on developing the African music industry to compete with the developed industries around the globe”, Delani Makhalima, AFRIMA Juror from Zimbabwe, says.
