PDP: Group Asks NWC To Apologise To Jonathan, For Irregular Party Primaries

PDP: Group asks NWC to apologise to Jonathan, for irregular party primaries
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) pressure group with the name, ‘Youths Coalition For PDP Progress 2015′ Thursday asked the National Working Committee of the party, led by Adamu Muazu, to appologize to President Goodluck Jonathan for holding irregular primaries in the states.
According to the Group the crises in the states’ PDP as a result of the primaries that were held in the states are embarrassing to the president as a leader of the party.
The group, therefore said for causing the party and its members nationwide so much pain, the National Headquarters of PDP should apologise to President Jonathan and all the aggrieved members while taking immediate steps towards redressing the wrongs it allegedly caused with the primaries, in the interest of the party.
The group listed Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Borno, Kebbi, Bayelsa, Oyo, Kwara, Ebonyi, Taraba, Anambra, Benue and other states as crises prone, averring that the failure by the PDP to deploy maturity and sincerity in handling complaints by aggrieved members on the just concluded primaries of the party, which led to more of its key members defecting to  opposition parties.
