Jonathan @ 57: ‘We will overcome’

President Goodluck Jonathan celebrates his 57th birthday with family members, friends and aides on Thursday morning.  Ven. Obioma Onwuzurumba who officiated the short Holy Communion service held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said that when God’s hand is on a man, there is nothing opposition can do.

Jonathan used the opportunity to assure Nigerians that the country will overcome her challenges.  “Though we face challenges, we will surely get over them. Let us live together, work hard together and pray together,” the host said.

The president in the company of his wife, Patience, and his mother, Eunice cut his birthday cakes.
