Governor of River State, Chibuike Ameachi Wednesday accused President Goodluck Jonathan of stopping the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from implementing the new polling units policy.
Ameachi, speaking at the Salvation Rally of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abuja said: ”The President should tell why he stopped INEC from implementing the new polling units policy”.
It would be recalled that INEC recently planned to create additional 30, 000 polling units all over the country with most APC controlled state having more of the newly created units.
But the move was highly criticised by some politicians who accused INEC of having a hidden agenda.
