Passaic county superior court judge, Sahail Mohammed made the ruling on Monday in a paternity case.
It`s possible but rare for a woman to give birth to set of twins with different fathers. Mohammed wrote in his opinion that he found two other court cases nationally on such matters.
It happen that a woman had sex with two men in the same menstrual circle, and two of her eggs was fertilised separately by each man
The case came to light when a Passiac county woman sought child support payment from a man she thought was the father of her daughters, who were born in January 2013.
A DNA test show that the man was almost certainly the father of one the twin but wasn`t the father of the other
In county testimony, the mother said she had sex with both men in a span of about one week
The judge ruled in that case that the man owes $28 per week
