APGA Wants To Challenge Wike’s Victory At Tribunal

The number of political parties that are challenging the 2015 elections in Rivers State continues to increase with the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, declaring its intention to head for the election tribunal
the governorship candidate of APGA, Charles Harry, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt.
Harry maintained that the election in Rivers State, which was marred by violence, intimidation of voters and other heinous electoral offences, can not be allowed to stand.
Charles Harry berated the Governor-elect, Nyesom Wike for alleging that evidence are being concocted to influence the decision of the tribunal.

He, however, said APGA is putting logistic and other plans together in preparation of the election tribunal in Abuja.
“The reasons for challenging it has nothing to do with the candidates and has nothing to do with the person of Nyesom Wike of the PDP who has been declared winner.
“We are challenging because we believe that we owe our posterity a duty to make sure that elections are not held in this particular manner again in future.
“If we do not push the frontiers of our politics to the proper perspective after what people saw on the 11th, you will not see people come out for election in 2019,” Harry said.
