Army pulls out 15 generals

Former Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NAEME), Maj.-Gen. Thompson Oliomogbe, has commended soldiers for their contribution towards maintaining internal security, especially the battle against insurgency in the country.
Oliomogbe, who made the commendation at the pulling out of 15 generals of the corps in Auchi, Edo State on Friday, charged the younger soldiers not to take anything for granted in their career.

He reminded them that their career had just begun and that they should put up their best to attain the highest level and peak in their profession.
Oliomogbe urged them to extend same cooperation he enjoyed from them to his successor, adding that they should also invest in learning, self-development and to acquire more skills.
He urged his retired colleagues to try and retain their credibility by promoting the ideals of the profession.
