Police Hunt Down Chris Brown Armed Robbers

Police are reportedly close to discovering who broke into Chris Brown’s mansion.
The new lead comes after the Crawl singer’s recent club appearance where he was allegedly paid $50,000 in cash, according to TMZ.
Police sources have reportedly told the website that the lead comes as they believe that the break-in on Wednesday was down to someone knowing that the Grammy Award-winning star had the cash.
It’s been claimed that the huge sum of money being held by the star was a rare occurrence as reportedly does not keep that kind of cash around his home.
According to the report, the thieves told Chris’ aunt that they knew who owned the property.
It’s also been claimed that they allegedly wanted to know where the safe was in the house, and during the horrific incident revealed they knew about the $50,000.
Police department insiders have told the website that there was only a few people who were aware about the sum of money and are now looking at those people.
Chris' aunt was reportedly held hostage when his house was hit by a robbery.
The star - who was seemingly out clubbing at the time of the incident - was targeted by the incident, although he wasn't in the property at the time.
According to TMZ, the three men forced their way in to the San Fernando Valley house and ordered Chris' aunt into a closet at gunpoint.
It is said they then "ransacked" the home, taking money and other property before fleeing the residence.
Whilst police reportedly raced to the scene after the rapper's aunt called 911, the robbers had left by the time they'd arrived.
The incident is believed to have happened at around 2am - but at that time, Chris was snapped at Argyle nightclub in Hollywood, where he arrived a 12.30am and left almost two hours later.
