The footballing world is already reeling from the Fifa corruption scandal.
This latest revelation will leave not only football fans but everyone scratching their heads and asking: “How?”
El Mundo, considered one of Spain’s papers of record, dropped the bombshell revelation in its latest edition.
If true, it will outdo even the likes of randy ex-England manager Sven Goran Eriksson.
The saucy Swede romped with a string of beauties, including Ulrika Jonsson, despite looking like a middle-aged accountant.
Irina, who is said to be dating Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper, is not just out of Blatter’s league – she is playing a different sport.
The reports in Spain do not make it clear just when the Fifa boss is said to have performed the miracle and pulled Irina or if she was dating Ronaldo at the time.
But, either way, it is going to come as a huge blow to the former Manchester United ace’s massive ego.
To think that he shared a lover with OAP Blatter is pure comedy.
Neither Blatter nor Irina have so far commented on the claims.
You can’t imagine he will be hugely upset about the story sweeping across the globe.
She might well have a completely different view.
