World Cup host, Canada Face Super Falcons Tomorrow


FIFA Women’s World Cup hosts Canada will face the Nigeria senior women national team on Monday.
The Canadians who returned to their base on Thursday from training tour of Europe, announced the friendly match with Nigeria will be played behind closed doors at the Tim Hortons Field in Hamiton.
The North Americans, coached by John Herdman, will later take on England in a sold-out friendly match before heading to Edmonton ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup opening match on June 6 against China PR before facing New Zealand at the same venue on June 11 and later Netherlands in Montreal on June 15.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group D alongside two-time winners USA, Sweden and Australia.
