Tragic Story: A Bureau De Change Worker Was Killed By Robbers In Abuja

A man who was attacked by armed robbers who tried to strip him off over N1 million few days ago, has finally given up the ghost today due to severe injuries sustained in the process. His death was made known by a prominent Northern youth, Ibrahim Wale, who posted the message below on his social media.

Usman Hamza before his death, he worked with a Bureau De Change in Abuja. Few days ago, he went to carry on a transaction in one of the banks at Mararraba. According to one of his relation, he withdrew the sum of N1.5million as part of the money for exchange with his customers that requested Naira notes in place of foreign currency.

In his own wisdom, he took Okada/Achaba from Mararraba and headed to town, somewhere close to Abacha Barracks (it appears he was followed) some robbers attempted to rob him by way of running their car onto the motorcycle he climbed. Together with the Okada rider, they crashed into a pit and sustain serious injury. As for the money, if not for soldiers around the vicinity, the robbers would have made away with the money.

SINCE THEN, USMAN HAMZA WAS UNCONSCIOUSLY RUSHED TO HOSPITAL, FOR SOME DAYS, HE WAS AT ICU IN THE NATIONAL HOSPITAL ABUJA, UNTIL THE EARLY HOURS OF TODAY, HE GAVE UP THE GHOST. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
