Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal Relocates To Abuja For Security Reason

PDP said the election in Rivers State was conducted in a VERY peaceful condition and everything was free and fair. But now the judges who will check the details say the state is not safe. What an irony!

The Rivers Election Petition Tribunal has relocated to the FCT, Abuja, for security reasons. This move was contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The relocation was approved by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.

The statement was issued and signed by Mrs Deborah Musa, the Secretary of the tribunal.

The statement said Justice Ishaq Bello, the acting Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, approved the FCT High Court, Apo, as the secretariat and trial court for the tribunal.

Consequently, the gladiators in Rivers State who claimed that their election was peaceful will be going to Abuja to defend their actions on the 28th of March and the 11th of April, 2015.
