Stephen Keshi’s agent, Emmanuel Addo, has stated that the coach did not reject the new contract the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) offered him.
Addo insisted that he never spoke with any media outfit about Keshi’s alleged decision to turn Nigeria down. He however admitted having private discussions with friends about the contract and said their lawyers were studying the new contract.
“I’ve been called by so many people about the report on an online platform. I’m thoroughly embarrassed that such a report has been attributed to me. I’ve not spoken in all that has happened to anyone till this minute since Mike Umeh’s time that we were negotiating with NFF,” Addo said on ITV.
